Non-Woven Geotextile Fabric

Non-woven geotextile fabric is a valuable material that can often drastically reduce the required volumes of infill material (such as aggregates) by preventing the mixing of the infill material with the ground soil. Geotextile liner is widely used across civil, landscaping, and construction projects to solve common problems with soil movement, drainage, and ground stability.

It's a strong, permeable material that is needle-punched into a tough, flexible sheet that holds up in demanding ground conditions. Different Classes of Geotextile Fabric

One of the most practical uses for geotextile fabric is as a separation layer between two different materials - for example, between a clay subgrade and GAP40 aggregate. Without it, the two materials gradually mix together, which can waste a lot of expensive aggregate. A single layer of fabric keeps them apart, protecting your investment and reducing the need for top-ups over time. Stronger Ground, Less Excavation

On soft or unstable ground (peat soils, wet clay, or waterlogged areas) laying geotextile fabric liner before your sub-base spreads the load and improves stability immediately. This often means less digging, less fill material, and a surface that holds up far longer. Driveways, pathways, and paved areas built over geotextile fabric are less likely to sink or shift. Geotextile Fabric for Improved Drainage

The open fibre structure lets water move through freely while holding fine soil particles in place. This makes it well-suited for sub-soil drainage, retaining wall backfill, and anywhere you need water to drain without soil washing through with it. Uses of

- Under driveways, pathways, and paving.
- Behind retaining walls and in drainage systems.
- Ground reinforcement on peat or soft clay.
- Road construction and sub-base stabilisation.
- Erosion control and slope protection.
- Landscaping and garden bed lining. Key Features of Geotextile Fabric

- Durable - UV, rot, and chemical resistant.
- High tensile strength with good puncture resistance.
- Permeable structure for drainage and filtration.
- Easy to cut and install on site.
- Suitable for residential and commercial use.
