Designed to be as easy to use as possible, the direction of the telescope is easier than ever to adjust by simply swinging the telescope by hand in the vertical and horizontal directions to your desired location. Once you stop friction will hold it in place ready for you to use the slow motion control handles on the mount to make finer adjustments to the scopes position.
The mount supplied with your 80mm telescope tube has a dovetail-plate attachment to connect the tube. This makes it easier than ever to connect different optical tubes should you with. The mount holds optical tubes weighing up to 3.5kg. In addition, the mount head of the your Porta scope is designed for ultra portability and can be folded for convenient storage or transport.
An accessory tray is conveniently located on the tripod for storing small pieces such as eyepieces when you’re observing.
