Fruit Loaf - Shelly Bay Baker

 
Our sourdough fruit loaf is loaded with generous amounts of organic apricots, figs, dates, sultanas, golden sultanas, raisins and cranberries. All the fruit is sulphite free. The loaf is slowly fermented over 2 days giving it an amazing sourdough flavour and a moist texture. Made with an organic rye preferment and 100% fresh stoneground organic flour. When toasted the fruit in the bread caramelises - add salty butter and it zings on your palate, with extra toasted crunch. This is a medium sized loaf that will keep for about 4-5 days.
