Surron Light Bee X 420 Drive Chain – 102, 106 or 112 Links
This chain must be used with both a 420-pitch front sprocket and a 420-pitch rear sprocket.
It is not compatible with 428, 520 or other chain-pitch sprockets. Installation advice
Check the condition of both sprockets before installing a replacement chain. A new chain fitted to heavily worn or hooked sprockets can wear prematurely and may not run correctly.
If shortening the chain, use a suitable chain breaker and ensure the joining link is installed correctly. Set chain tension and rear wheel alignment to the bike manufacturer’s specification before riding.
Professional installation is recommended. Shock Moto can supply the appropriate sprocket and install the chain at our Wellington workshop. Chain maintenance
- Check chain tension regularly
- Clean the chain after wet, muddy or dusty rides
- Lubricate after cleaning and before the chain becomes dry
- Inspect for stiff links, corrosion, damage and excessive stretch
- Replace the chain if it can no longer be correctly adjusted
