Unlike mass-produced Western chisels, these edges are crafted using the traditional "Laminated Steel" technique.
- Yellow #2 High-Carbon Steel: The cutting edge is forged from premium "Kigami" (Yellow Paper) steel, renowned for taking a razor-sharp edge.
- Laminated Construction: A layer of softer steel supports the hard cutting edge. This dual-layer construction absorbs shock, increases durability, and makes sharpening significantly easier.
