Handbuilt Plate Pistachio

A very distinctive and special ceramic plate that references slipcast designs from the 1900's. Each hand built slab plate offers an enduring design for the home and table. New Zealand ceramic maker, Larisa Milsum has created a simple design, using her unique glaze and stoneware clay to produce a warm speckled finish.

Larissa started her journey with ceramics while living in Melbourne, with a friend who worked as a ceramic artist. There was a wheel for throwing the clay and a gas fired kiln in the garage where Larissa spent her free time exploring the materiality of clay. She is now a full time potter in New Zealand.

Each piece is handmade and individual, so the size and glaze will vary.
