Roses in a Vase

Shortly before Vincent van Gogh's departure from the asylum in Saint-Rémy in May 1890, Van Gogh painted a captivating group of four still life's, which included this stunning painting of Vase with Pink Roses that has been created into a gallery motif. During those final three weeks of his recovery, van Gogh wrote to his brother Theo and said he had "worked as in a frenzy. Great bunches of flowers, violet irises, big bouquets of roses..". Vase with Pink Roses is among van Gogh's most beautiful still life's, with an exuberant bouquet of Roses in full bloom against a sumptuous textured pink background and is printed on luxurious 310gsm, 100% cotton rag matte paper.
