Timberwolf Xtra is a Herbicide for Selective Control in Forestry and Non-Selective Weed Control in Industrial Situation.
Active Ingredient:
435 g/litre TERBUTHYLAZINE and 65 g/litre HEXAZINONE in the form of a Suspension Concentrate.

. Controls grasses and broadleaf weeds before spring growth.

Mode of Action:
. Absorbed mainly through the roots, with some foliar uptake.
. Controls weeds by inhibiting photosynthesis.
Major Hazards:
. Human Health.
. May be harmful if swallowed.
. Causes serious eye irritation.
. May damage organs following repeated exposure.
Environmental:
. Very toxic to Aquatic Organisms.
. Very toxic to Soil Organisms.
. Harmful to Terrestrial Vertebrates.
. Spray drift can seriously damage desirable Vegetation.
PPE Requirements:
When mixing or applying wear:
. Chemical-resistant Coveralls.
. Gloves.
. Boots.
. Eye Protection.
. Respirator with an Organic Vapour Filter if exposed to spray mist.
. Do not Eat, Drink or Smoke while using.
Qualified Handler:
Must be under the control of: A Certified Handler or An appropriately trained and experienced person.
Mixing:
. Agitate containers before opening.
. Add to a partly filled spray tank.
. Maintain continuous agitation during mixing and spraying.
Re-agitate if mixture has stood.
Application Forestry: (Broadcast).
. Rate: 15–17.5 L/ha.
. Water Volume: 150–300 L/ha.
. Comments: Apply before spring growth. Higher rates provide longer residual control.
. For Kikuyu and Paspalum, add an approved selective Grass Herbicide.
Forestry (Spot).
. Rate: 1.5–2 mL/m².
Non-Cropland Broadcast.
. Rate: 15–22 L/ha.
. Water Volume: 200–300 L water/ha.
. Higher rates provide longer residual control on heavy soils.
Handgun.
. Rate: 2L per 100 L water.
. Apply in spring or autumn for best results.
Equipment:
. Use calibrated spray equipment.
. Do not use Strainers finer than 300 Microns.
vSuitable for conventional Ground and Aerial Spraying.
Spray Drift Management:
. Use low-drift nozzles.
. Spray in light winds blowing away from sensitive Vegetation.
. Avoid drift onto Crops and Native Vegetation.
Extra care where sensitive vegetation is within 500 metres.
Storage:
Store:
. Locked up.
. Original sealed container.
. Cool, dry, well-ventilated area.
. Between -5°C and 35°C.
. Away from Food, Seed and Fertiliser.
Stores over 100 litres require:
. Secondary containment.
. Emergency response plan.
. Signage.
Disposal:
. Triple rinse containers.
. Add rinsate to spray tank.
. Recycle through Agrecovery where possible.
. Do not burn containers.
. Do not reuse containers.
Spill Response:
. Exclude unnecessary people.
. Prevent entry into Waterways.
. Absorb with Sand or Soil.
. Dispose of waste at an Approved Hazardous Waste Facility.
