Cherry Compact Stella - Springvale Garden Centre

The first true self-fertile, sweet cherry. This prolific and regular bearer produces large, firm, sweet, dark red fruit and also happens to be a great pollinator. Ready mid season – fruit ripens in December/January. Hardy. Self-fertile. Grows to approximately 4m high x 3m wide.

Plant in a sunny, sheltered spot in free draining soil prepared with compost. Stake the tree to keep it secure until established. Apply ican Slow Food at the base when planting. Water well during prolonged dry spells and during fruit development. Frost hardy while dormant. Protect fresh buds from spring frosts.
