Dwarf Nectarine ‘Nectar Babe’ – 50cm Standard

A naturally dwarf nectarine tree, grown as a standard (grafted at 50cm above ground). Red-blushed fruit with yellow flesh which is very sweet and juicy. Harvest in February. Low chill requirement – ideal for growing in warmer regions. Partially self-fertile but produces best when pollinated by another dwarf peach or nectarine variety. Deep pink flowers in Spring. Grows approximately 1.5 x 1.5m.

Sunny, sheltered position in fertile, well drained soil. Tolerates light frosts. Protect from spring frosts while fresh buds are emerging. Water deeply during dry periods and fruit formation.
