BAY TREE (laurus nobilis) Subtropica

The leaves of this handsome, hardy little tree are used to flavour soups and stews. The tree is easily grown in open ground or pots. It prefers a sunny site in fertile, well-drained soil. In cold climates it is best grown against a wall.
