Issue 35 features five houses built with connectuon and comfort in mind – these are houses for living in, and living in well. ⁠ ⁠On the cover, the renovation of a 1980s pole house by SGA on on Waiheke Island keeps everything the owners loved about the place, but refines and rationalises its deeply quirky angles. ⁠ ⁠

Elsewhere, Studio 2 Arcjhitects design a low-slung retreat around notions of warmth and togetherness in Matakana, while Pac Studio peels back the layers of a heritage villa in Epsom, uncovering past lives and bringing a fresh perspective. In Paekākāriki, meanwhile, William Giesen creates a flexible space for business and pleasure at the bottom of his garden.
