Old Espresso, cool, calm, earthy and sophisticated
Old Espresso is fast becoming popular through all of our retailers nationwide and it's not surprising given the versatility that this Artisan neutral provides. When we crafted this colour, we really thought long and hard about what makes a beautiful brown, after all it is a "brown" we were creating. End Result, Artisan Old Espresso is so so much more than just a brown.
We crafted this colour with interiors and landscapes in mind, using multiple pigments to balance the tone, depth & richness. We wanted to create a calm, earthy neutral brown that would easily slot into any interior space. We went down the path of crafting a cool earthy brown using multiple pigments to craft a unique sophisticated depth, it's a brown that can be restful and calming. A tone that could easily be altered through coloured waxes in terms of warming it up or deepening it further.
Available in the full range, Velvet Luxe, indoor outdoor, smooth self levelling (no wax or lacquer required) it sits as a stunning cool earthy sophisticated brown that is easy on the eye and reflects the landscape and scenery pulling the outdoors in (see the background colour of the image what Old Espresso would look like in Velvet Luxe ), you can pair it with both silver or gold and when it comes to dressing around it, it works with most colours in soft furnishing whether it be cool or warm it's super versatile and you can interpret this colour in both a contemporary or classic way in the home.

Used as an ageing wax its subtle and elegant not too vintage. and is a great one to consider when ageing lighter neutrals.
