Softly aged shimmery green

When it comes to soft greens Vintro Verdant is definitely a strong contender. A beautiful colour to connect with gardens and outdoor greenery, and a great colour to introduce into the home and softly aged like this makes it elegant, sophisticated and full of character whilst being soft and muted.

This beautiful laurel green can be found when walking around the expansive gardens and parklands of Osborne House, Isle of Wight, originally planned by, and partly planted by, Prince Albert and observed by Queen Victoria.
To Re-create this look paint with subtle texture using the Staalmeester prohybrid 20/20 paint brush, once dry softly and gently age by mixing Vintro Clear and dark together to create a light brown wax and apply allowing it to gather around the edges, details and brushstrokes. Steel wool the body to highlight the Verdant. Then finish off with a Vintro Metallic gold wash.
This creates a lovely warm version of Verdant, with plenty of depth, a finish that is sophisticated and looks complex but is actually super easy to achieve to it sounds. To see how to create this finish simply pop into your Vintro Retailer download, save or bookmark this image and your retailer will show you how to recreate this look at the Vintro Demo Bar in store.
