Stunning Mid blue with soft industrial age

This weeks Paint recipe shows the beautiful and versatile Chiswick House a stunning mid blue.

A strong blue that was influenced by the décor within the Blue Velvet State Room at Chiswick House, London, which was built in 1729 and is a good example of Georgian Neo-Palladian architecture.
Pictured here Chiswick house has been deepened and given a slight industrial age creating a beautiful depth in the finish with Victorian Black wax. The carved details given a touch of luxe, detailed in Vintro gold then aged a little with a dab of dark wax over the gold. An easy finish to achieve and definitely one to consider if you are a lover of blues. Leave the gold out for a more relaxed chic look or add the gold for a bit of luxe.
