Hook- Aotea AS1

6.3 cm length, 3.1cm Aotea stone comes from the Bruce Bay area in South Westland. It is not a type of pounamu, but is a stone that is highly prized by Maori from this area. Aotea stone is characterised by the beautiful turquoise colours that it contains.
