The flagship wine of the estate: Te Motu is a Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blend with Merlot and Cabernet Franc, hand-harvested from low-yielding vines.

Tasting Notes
The 2008 Te Motu is a powerful, rich red with a nose full of ripe cherries, blackberries and smoky pipe tobacco. The palate is opulent and redolent of red currants, blackberries and sweet anise spice. Ripe tannins, balancing acidity and a long finish mean this wine will cellar well to 2022.
