Indian Community Antenatal Classes

Janm Aur Parvarish is an online antenatal class for pregnant Indian women in New Zealand. The classes are free and available nationally to any pregnant Indian women. The course is presented via

Te Rito Ora offers the free pregnancy information sessions for Indian women, presented in Hindi. These sessions include:

- Safe Sleep & Bathing Baby
- Immunisations
- Labour & Birth (currently in English, with Hindi translation planned)
- Early Bonding & Parenting
- Breastfeeding
- Nutrition and Physical Activity

Sessions are run every Monday and Thursday on a monthly rotation and are accessible from anywhere in Aotearoa. Co-designed with Indian women, they provide trusted, culturally relevant information and address common questions. Indian women’s feedback tells us the session are invaluable.
