Calycanthus Hartlage Wine

A beautiful deciduous shrub producing large, elegant burgundy, magnolia-like flowers from early spring, with repeat blooms appearing sporadically throughout the growing season. The lush mid-green foliage provides an attractive backdrop before turning brilliant golden yellow in autumn.

An excellent feature plant for mixed borders and woodland gardens, it thrives in full sun to partial shade with fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Hardy and deciduous.
