Persimmon Matsumoto Wase Fuyu

A prolific fruiting variety producing medium-sized, round flattened fruit with a sweet, crisp flavour. Non astringent, the fruit can be eaten firm and holds well on the tree into winter.

Provides excellent seasonal interest with vibrant autumn colour before leaf fall. Well suited to home gardens, it can be grown in the ground, in large containers or trained as an espalier.

Performs best in full sun with good drainage and shelter from strong winds. Regular watering during fruit development will support quality yields. Self fertile, deciduous and hardy
