Phylica pubescens

A distinctive South African shrub admired for its silvery, downy foliage and soft, woolly flower heads that are highly valued for floral arrangements and dried displays. Its compact, rounded habit makes it an excellent feature plant for coastal gardens, Mediterranean-style landscapes and sunny containers.

Thrives in full sun with acidic, free-draining soil and performs well in sheltered, dry positions such as beneath north-facing eaves. Protect from frost. Evergreen.
