Astilbe simplicifolia
a compact, small-growing Astilbe with short, feathery stems of soft pale pink flowers that rise above attractive bronze-toned foliage. Its delicate plumes and tidy habit make it ideal for the front of borders, shaded beds, or naturalistic plantings.
Preferring moist soil, it grows well in sun or shade and is a reliable, hardy perennial that dies back in winter before returning each spring.
