Raukaua edgerlyi

A handsome New Zealand native shrub with attractive, glossy divided green foliage that adds year-round texture and structure to the garden. Its lush, tropical appearance makes it an excellent choice for sheltered native plantings, woodland gardens and mixed borders.

Small greenish-white flowers may appear in summer, followed by dark berries that attract native birds. Thrives in partial shade with moist, fertile, well-drained soil and benefits from protection against harsh winds when young. Intolerant of heavy frosts and evergreen.
