Caryota gigas

A truly monumental fishtail palm renowned for its massive, dramatic leaves that form an elegant umbrella-shaped canopy. Slow growing but spectacular, it creates a bold tropical feature in large gardens, courtyards or parks.

Performs best with abundant water and regular fertiliser during summer and should be protected from heavy frost and strong winds. Evergreen and long-lived, it adds a striking architectural presence year-round.
