Ipheion uniflorum

One of the longest-flowering spring bulbs, producing masses of deep purple-tinted blue, star-shaped flowers over an extended period. Easy to grow and naturalise, it forms attractive clumps that return year after year with minimal care.

Thrives in both sun and shade and adapts well to a wide range of soil conditions. Ideal for borders, rock gardens, underplanting and mass displays. Hardy and summer dormant.
