Zephyranthes candida
or Rain Lily, is a lush bulbous perennial native to South America, forming dense tufts of fine, grass like green foliage. From late summer to early autumn it produces pure white, crocus like flowers that open quickly, often following rainfall and carry a light fragrance.
Ideal for pots, borders or as a ground cover, it prefers moist but well draining soil and performs reliably in full sun to part shade. Low maintenance and adaptable, it adds soft seasonal colour and texture to the garden.
