A robust, long-flowering perennial producing upright stems of rich red blooms with golden highlights from mid summer through to early winter. Valued by florists for its strong stems and long vase life and highly attractive to bees and butterflies. ideal for mixed borders, mass plantings, containers or interplanted among ornamental grasses for added movement and seasonal interest.

Performs best in moist, free-draining soil and benefits from mulching during warmer months. Thrives in full sun. Hardy and winter dormant.
