Manfreda species
an unusual succulent that forms a dense clump of fleshy green foliage marked with red, giving it a bold textured look even when not in flower. In summer it sends up a striking flower spike that can reach around 1.5m tall adding real architectural interest to the garden or patio.
Ideal for containers or for tucking among rocks where its form can be shown off, it prefers a sunny position with good drainage. Protect from heavy frosts. Evergreen and eye catching in any dry garden planting.
