Malus strathmore
or Crab Apple, is an ornamental specimen tree prized for its spectacular seasonal display. In spring, it produces masses of red buds that open into large, dark pink blossoms, followed by small red crab apples in summer.
New foliage emerges with bronze and red tones, matures to green and turns vibrant red in autumn. Thrives in full sun with well drained soil. Hardy and deciduous.
