Indigo Sashiko Lattice Dobby Jacket
This jacket is a beautiful example of Japanese craftsmanship. It was created with immense experience and intuition of local Japanese artisans. Made using sashiko weaving techniques to create a fabric inspired by ripstop - a weaving structure with excellent tear strength. This blue is hand-dyed using a dye blend of natural indigo and regular indigo, and the more you wash it, the more the texture improves.
It has a slightly loose pattern and simple design to fit a variety of styles. Knowing it will be worn for many years, it has high tear strength and was sewn with an extra-sturdy sewing method.
