Frankincense essential oil has a warm, balsamic, spicy aroma with a hint of lemon.

Frankincense was a precious aromatic used by the ancient Egyptians and Hebrews, it was believed burning frankincense helped to drive out evil spirits and purify the soul.

Effect on skin: A premium oil for mature skin and anti-aging formulations, Frankincense stimulates regeneration and healing to rejuvenate and tone the skin. May balance oily skin. Also effective with inflammation from wounds, sores and ulcers.

Effect on body: Eases shortness of breath, useful for asthma sufferers. Beneficial for head colds, coughs, bronchitis and laryngitis. Could help ease post-natal depression.

Effect on mind: A calming and opening effect on the mind, ideal during meditation or times of stress and anxiety when a tight, contracted state is common.
