Matcha Bamboo Whisk - Brunette

Perfect your craft with clump free, and beautifully frothy matcha with our Matcha Bamboo Whisk 茶筅.

Crafted from purple bamboo or also known as black bamboo, this gives our Matcha Chasen 茶筅 a unique look. It's meticulously woven with brown thread, making it a very sleek chasen to add to your collection.

As this is crafted from bamboo, natural marks in the bamboo will occur.

Directions:
Add one teaspoon of matcha to bowl along with 50mls of warm water. Whisk in M or Z motion vigorously until matcha has a frothy consistency. Pour this directly over ice, milk or simply add more water. Enjoy!

Maintenance:
At first use, soak your matcha bamboo whisk in hot water. It is normal to see the ends "uncurl". After each use, whisk in hot water the dry on a bamboo stand to preserve shape. Do not use soap or place in dishwasher.

It is recommended to replace your chasen every few months dependent on how often you use it.

Please note as bamboo is a natural product, there may be variations between each chasen.
