Week Aqua Quick Plug CO2 Solenoid Valve

The automates CO2 injection for your planted aquarium. Wired through a timer, it opens to let CO2 flow while your lights are on and closes when they switch off. This prevents harmful night-time CO2 build-up, conserves cylinder gas, and keeps daytime levels stable for healthy plant growth. It uses a low-temperature DC design, so it stays cool to the touch and runs near-silently, and it ships with an NZ/AU wall adapter ready for local outlets.

Choose your configuration:

- Single Head. Designed to integrate with a regulator. One end connects to a standard CO2 regulator fitting (typically where a bubble counter attaches), and the other end takes standard 4/6 mm CO2 hose. This is the choice if you're mounting the solenoid onto your regulator or bubble-counter stack.
- Double Head. Quick-plug fittings on both ends for standard 4/6 mm CO2 tubing. This is the choice for a tool-free, hose-to-hose installation: drop it inline anywhere between your regulator and diffuser with no threaded adapters needed. Ideal for cabinet-mounted setups and more customised CO2 systems.

Both options are a single solenoid valve. The difference is purely the end fittings and how you want to plumb it into your system.

Key features:

- Timer-ready automation. Switches CO2 on with your lights and off at night, protecting fish and saving gas
- Low-temperature DC operation. Runs cool and quiet, safe for long daily cycles
- Two fitting configurations. Single head (regulator-mount) or double head (tool-free hose-to-hose)
- Quick-plug connectors. Push tubing in to lock, press the collar to release
- NZ/AU power adapter included. Plug-and-play for New Zealand and Australian mains
- Durable aluminium-alloy body. Compact enough to sit inside an aquarium cabinet
- Fits standard 4/6 mm CO2 tubing

What's in the box:

- 1 × (Single or Double Head, as selected)
- 1 × NZ/AU power adapter
- 1 × DC connector cable

Installation:
- Decide your mount point. For single head, connect the regulator-side fitting onto your CO2 regulator or bubble counter. For double head, position it inline in your CO2 cabinet.
- Connect your incoming CO2 line to the inlet and the outgoing line (to your diffuser or atomiser) to the outlet. A check valve between the solenoid and diffuser is recommended to prevent water back-siphoning into the valve.
- Plug the valve into the supplied NZ/AU adapter, and the adapter into your aquarium timer.
- Set the timer so CO2 comes on shortly before lights-on and off before lights-out, then dial in your bubble rate.
