Blackthorn Cushion

An iconic William Morris design, that has been re-coloured and re-imagined many times over the years.

Blackthorn was designed for wallpaper by J.H. Dearle in 1892 and was first adapted for machine printed fabric in 1975 by Sanderson, becoming hugely popular.

Todays versions are reproduced in authentic colours matching the original wallpaper samples. This particular design; a warming heritage colour combination of predominantly russet tones with sage green accents; was produced in 2002.
