From Catherine Martin’s collection ‘The Royal Menagerie’, Panthera; a rich lustrous velvet in a delicious rich bronze gold.

This collection was produced alongside Catherine’s director husband Baz Luhrman’s biopic Elvis, with inspiration for the designs drawn from Graceland and the glitz and glamour of the 60’s and 70’s rock and roll lifestyle. Panthera was inspired by Elvis’s iconic stage costumes and jewellery, at once beautifully intricate and shamelessly bold in design. Woven in a decadent cut-pile velvet construction, the leopard motif is sunken into the cloth and detailed using a rhythmic binding, adding further depth and dimension to the pattern.
