In the Fleur cushion, it arrives as the ground for a beautifully embroidered crewel stitch design in Chalk: an illustrated floral motif that is playful without being precious, handcrafted without being rustic. The heavyweight linen-cotton blend gives the cushion a presence that lighter fabrics cannot achieve, and the crewel embroidery — worked by skilled artisans using traditional techniques — gives each piece a quiet individuality.
