Spanish moss - Air plant

Spanish moss (Tillandsia usneoides) is a unique plant that you would commonly see hanging from trees in tropical regions and used in all sorts of arts and crafts. But did you know this epiphytic Bromeliad also makes a great houseplant?

Tillandsia is a genus of around 650 species of evergreen, perennial flowering plants in the family Bromeliaceae, native to the forests, mountains and deserts of northern Mexico and south-eastern United States, Mesoamerica and the Caribbean to mid Argentina.

These interesting and unique plants survive by obtaining the nutrients & water they need from the air, attaching themselves to shrubs, trees, rocks and so much more. Spanish moss care is not too complicated. Like other air plants, it can be grown without a pot in any bright location you have to offer. They look great in cute terrariums.

Moss will come in a small bundle and you can stretch it out or bunch to your liking.
