Amethyst geode - The Hidden Gem

A wonderful amethyst geode, with a couple of pale calcite inclusions, from Brazil. The natural agate that forms the body of the geode has been painted black to set off the beautiful sparkly amethyst points that bejewel the interior of this incredible sculpture formed naturally within our planet. Currently available to view on Waiheke Island at the Ostend Gallery.
