POHO KERERŪ FLAG - This flag is part of the PUANGA HORI COLLECTION.

Te kererū - te manu o te tau / the bird of the new year - this tohu or key indicator usually happens when puanga is at its brightest the miro berries of the koramiro tree are at there ripest , this is when the kererū would feast and in turn be the best time to Eat.

Poho kererū is also a kiwaha or saying for being Proud, as your chest is inflated with pride mimicking the chest of a kererū bird which is often much bigger then the rest of the body.
