Nutrifield pH buffer 4.0 - 250ml

It is recommended that pH instruments are cleaned and calibrated at least monthly to provide you with the most accurate reading.

The pH measuring equipment is calibrated to pH 7.0 first (buffer) then to pH 4.0 (slope). The pH buffers are essential for use with all pH products for the calibration of pH Probes.

The pH level of nutrient solutions is critical. If the pH level is outside 5.8 to 6.5, plants find it difficult to absorb the minerals and become deficient. The pH level should be checked when the nutrient is first made and ideally every day in a recirculating system.

To ensure solutions remain accurate:

- Avoid cross-contamination
- Decanter into a smaller plastic cup
- Discard sample after use
- Store in a cool dark place
- Store with lid secured tightly
- Keep out of reach of children
