Inspired by Hiwa-i-te-rangi, the wishing star of Matariki, this special craft encourages children to reflect, dream and make wishes for the year ahead but can also be used for:

- Pōhutukawa → reflecting on the past
- Matariki → reflecting on the present
- Hiwa-i-te-rangi → looking toward the future/dreams

While perfect for Matariki celebrations, this magical star wand can also be enjoyed all year round for imaginative play, dress-ups and creative crafting fun.
