This spring we wanted to create something especially beautiful, and substantial. Issue 40 marks 10 years of publishing for The Natural Parent Magazine – it’s our birthday! We’ve brought together some of the most insightful parenting support from the likes of Dr Laura Markham whose stress busting tips are most definitely going to come in useful in our household. We were also lucky enough to catch up with one of our favourite kiwi mama musicians Anika Moa, who like the rest of us, has her own family challenges to overcome through this strange time. Bonnie Bayley takes us on a fascinating tour into the world of the mama influencer. She explains that what we see on social media is just a highlights reel and a tiny snippet of someone’s life. Here our “mumfluencers" get candid about the heartaches, challenges and frustrations they’ve faced, the realities of being a mummy blogger and the inimitable gifts of motherhood.
