Also known simply as Kava, the root was traditionally used for calming feelings of worry, panic, and excitability to support healthy emotional well-being. It supports relaxation and for muscles and the mind to help people wind down at the end of the day and sleep well. Kava may also support women experiencing hormonal changes during menopause, along with feelings of tension, mood swings, delayed sleep onset, and sleep maintenance.

Scientific research has identified the active constituents, kavalactones, contribute to Kava’s relaxing effect on the nervous system. Gaia’s Kava root is sourced from the Islands of Vanuatu, South Pacific, and is standardised and guaranteed to provide 75 mg of active Kavalactones per serving. Ingredients

Kava (Piper methysticum) root extract 442 mg, Kavalactones 75 mg. Other ingredients: Vegetable glycerin, sunflower lecithin, water and vegan capsule (hypromellose).
