Black Banded Leporinus
A bold and active freshwater fish known for its striking black and yellow vertical bands. Native to South America, particularly the Amazon Basin, this species is popular for its eye-catching pattern and schooling behavior. Best suited to large, well-filtered aquariums with open swimming space and secure lids, as they are strong jumpers. Grows up to 30 cm and can be semi-aggressive, especially as it matures.
