THE "CLIMAT" - Appellation Clos de Vougeot Control

TERROIR - In the upper section which is on a gentle slope, the soil is fairly shallow and has a seedy structure with a lot of gravel on the Bajocian limestone. In the middle, the soil is brown and shallow, gravelly, calcareous and more clay-rich.

TASTING - Appearance: Intense red with garnet tints

Bouquet: Rich, elegant and distinguished aroma with notes of black cherry, blackberry and musk supplemented with a hint of smoke.

In the mouth: pronounced minerality, in a powerful register, dense, but not excessively so.
