5 Aug, 2020 – Stony, flinty and savory syrah with underlying black cherries, graphite and blackberries. There are violets and some blueberries on the palate with a sliver of chocolate, set through fine, layered tannins. All fruit here, lots of whole bunches and a quick rest in old barriques. Super polished, fresh and dry. Planted in 1996. Drink over the next four years."
