Greenstone Manaia Koru Pendant

This greenstone necklace is a beautiful piece of Maori jewellery. Carved from genuine Nephrite Jade. Makes a wonderful Kiwiana gift or souvenir. This Maori necklace is strung on a braided traditional black wax cord. The height that the pendant hangs at can be adjusted using the sliding knots. Each carving is supplied loose in a jewellery box. As each piece is individually carved slight variations can occur.

The Manaia is a symbol of protection and acts as a guardian against evil. The Koru shape represents new beginnings, growth, and regeneration.
