Town & Country Chaise Lounge, NZ Rimu

This is a real gem, very rare to find in the market. We first made this chaise lounge in 1996. The first weekend, two pieces were sold from our Newmarket store to an Arabian prince whose house was in Auckland. We stop making this item after 2 years, as it was too time consuming to make this item.

$1998 was the price we put in 1996. In 1996 the rimu timber price was $900 per M3, in 2012 when we closed our rimu factory, the rimu timber price had already increased to $2800 per M3.

Made in New Zealand by us, Town & Country Furniture.

Finished with Linseed oil, shellac and wax, no chemical used.
