How to Use Ride Mechanic Bike Mix Stage 1 – Clean the Chain

Degrease the chain thoroughly (recommended for first use).

Shift onto the smallest rear sprocket.

Shake Bike Mix vigorously.

Rotate chain backwards and apply generously at the cassette.

Allow Bike Mix to penetrate and flush contaminants.

After ~20 seconds, wipe thoroughly with a dry cloth to remove lifted dirt and residue. For heavily contaminated or wet chains, repeat until clean. Stage 2 – Lubricate & Protect

Apply Bike Mix again while rotating the chain backwards.

Ensure the chain looks wet to allow full penetration.

Allow to dry fully (overnight recommended).

Repeat for a thicker film if preparing for endurance rides.

Wipe surface residue before riding.

The lubrication remains active inside the chain, keeping the outside clean and dust-resistant.

Important Notes:

Always wipe external residue before riding to avoid jockey wheel build-up
