The backing film aids in the prevention of fluid and bacterial strikethrough. Is suitable for patients with fragile skin as the soft silicone gel ensures atraumatic dressing removal. Can be worn for upto 7 days. It has an advanced triple-layered construction which combines an absorbent hydrocellular pad sandwiched between a perforated silicone gel adhesive wound contact layer and a highly permeable waterproof outer film. Can be lifted and repositioned without losing its adherent properties. Can be left in place without the need for secondary retention and is both easy to apply and remove.
